You know the Fire is close when
We had a little storm last night. It lasted a short while but had a lot of lightning...something like 800 strikes...nice. I have a love hate relationship with lightning because I live on the edge and maybe somewhat in the forest. In a burnble area. So we have 2-4 spots burning rather close to us at the moment. Thank goodness that there are people that specialize in fighting fires~~~here are some shots from Evans creek right behind the house......that helicopter sound has been ongoing since about 9am...... we will see how it shakes out...I do not like that the space between drops is getting shorter and shorter.....put it this way they started at 5 minutes apart..which means they are not going as far..which means...well you get the picture....
..scanner is on....more reports of smoke and fire....
